Terms of use
The rules for using Plusky, kept short and in plain words. Last updated October 30, 2026.
Who can use Plusky
Anyone can try the islands without an account. A family account must be made by a parent or guardian who is an adult where they live. Kids play under that grown-up's account and with their permission. By making an account, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy for yourself and your kids.
Your account
Keep your password and your Grown-ups PIN to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens in it. Please give us a real email so we can reach you about your account.
The family plan
- Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before you pay. Taxes are added where they apply.
- Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time in the Grown-ups area, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If you subscribe in the App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules, and you cancel through them.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
Playing fair
Please don't try to break into accounts that aren't yours, interfere with the game or its servers, copy the game to share or sell it, or use it to bother anyone. We may suspend an account that does, after telling you why where we can.
Our work
The game, its story, characters, art, voice and words belong to Plusky. You may use them to play and to teach with Plusky. Your family's progress belongs to your family, and you can download or erase it at any time.
What we promise, and what we can't
We work hard to keep Plusky running, accurate and safe for kids. Even so, it's provided as it is, and there may be times it's down for repairs or has a mistake in it. If something's wrong, tell us at hello@plusky.ca and we'll fix it.
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.
Ending things
You can stop using Plusky and erase your account at any time. If we ever close Plusky, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, time to download your family's progress, and a refund for any time you've paid for and can't use.
The fine print
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before the change takes effect. Questions go to hello@plusky.ca.
